Cancel difficulty: Easy

Cancel Hayu through whichever account you subscribed with. If you signed up at hayu.com, cancel in My Account > Payment Details > Cancel Subscription using a web browser. If Apple, Google Play, Amazon Prime Video Channels, Foxtel or Fetch TV bills you, cancel in that provider's account instead, because Hayu can't stop a subscription it doesn't bill. Access runs to the end of the period you've paid for, and cancelling during the 7-day free trial costs nothing.

How to cancel if you subscribed at hayu.com

You need a web browser. The TV app has no cancel button, and deleting the app does not stop billing.

  1. Go to hayu.com/user/subscriptions and sign in
  2. Open My Account > Payment Details
  3. Click Cancel Subscription (below your subscription details)
  4. Follow the prompts and confirm
  5. Check for a confirmation email

Cancel if you subscribed through Apple

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone > tap your name > Subscriptions
  2. Find Hayu and tap Cancel Subscription

Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal, or Apple charges the next cycle.

Cancel if you subscribed through Google Play

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions
  3. Find Hayu > Cancel subscription

Cancel if you subscribed through Amazon, Foxtel or Fetch TV

If you added Hayu as an add-on channel through Amazon Prime Video Channels, cancel in your Amazon account under Memberships & Subscriptions. If you subscribed through Foxtel or Fetch TV, cancel through that provider's account. Hayu can't cancel a third-party subscription for you, and its support team can't refund a charge that Amazon, Foxtel or Fetch collected.

Not sure who's billing you? Check your bank statement. The merchant name on the charge (Hayu, Apple, Google, Amazon, Foxtel or Fetch) tells you which account to cancel in.

After you cancel

Access continues until the end of your billing period, with no partial refund for unused days. Your account stays active, so you can resubscribe later without losing your watch history. Take a screenshot of the cancellation confirmation. While you're in your statement, a subscription tracker surfaces every other recurring charge still hitting your account, so Hayu isn't the only thing you stop paying for.

Current pricing (AUD)

Hayu raised prices on 2 December 2025, lifting the monthly plan about 28%.

PlanPriceEffective monthly
Monthly$8.99/mo$8.99
6-month$43.99~$7.33
Annual$79.99~$6.67

Every plan is single-device (no simultaneous streams). A 7-day free trial applies to all three plans for new subscribers. Cancel during the trial and you keep access until it ends without paying anything.

Hayu runs periodic sales, often around 25% off annual plans and heavier discounts over the holidays. If you plan to resubscribe, watch OzBargain for a code rather than paying full monthly.

Where else Bravo shows live in Australia

Hayu is the main home for Bravo, E! and NBCUniversal reality content: Real Housewives, Below Deck, Vanderpump Rules, Made in Chelsea, and Below Deck Down Under all stream same-day as the US, ad-free.

Some titles overlap elsewhere, so Hayu isn't your only option for every show. Below Deck sits on Foxtel and Hayu, with BINGE carrying a subset of seasons. Real Housewives availability varies by franchise across Foxtel, Hayu and free-to-air catch-up. If you cut Hayu but still want one specific series, check whether a service you already pay for carries it before resubscribing. Netflix and Stan run their own reality slates (Selling Sunset, Love Is Blind, MAFS), but nothing from the Bravo universe.

For the current season of your show the same day it airs in the US, Hayu is still the only path. That's what you're paying the premium for.

Worth knowing

  • Subscribe, binge, cancel. Hayu suits the one-month-at-a-time approach. Subscribe when a new season drops, catch up, cancel, resubscribe next season. Single-device streaming and no lock-in make this the cheapest way to watch.
  • Customer service reputation. Hayu sits at roughly 1.3 out of 5 on Trustpilot across 700+ reviews. Reviewers praise the content and criticise the app and support, and several report charges after cancelling. The screenshot of your confirmation is your evidence if that happens.
  • Same-day episodes. New episodes land the same day as the US, which is the reason to hold the subscription during a season rather than pausing.

If you're trimming a stack of streaming services, the same one-account-at-a-time logic applies to the rest. Guides for cancelling BINGE, Paramount+ and Stan cover the same territory.

FAQ

How do I cancel Hayu if I subscribed through Apple? Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, find Hayu, then tap Cancel Subscription. Apple handles the billing, so you can't cancel this one from inside the Hayu app or website. Do it at least 24 hours before your renewal date.

Will I still have access after cancelling? Yes. Access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for. Hayu doesn't cut you off immediately or refund the unused days, so there's no reason to cancel early in a billing cycle.

How much is Hayu now? After the 2 December 2025 increase, Hayu is $8.99 a month, $43.99 for six months ($7.33/mo), or $79.99 a year ($6.67/mo) in AUD. All plans are single-device.

Can I pause instead of cancel? No. Hayu has no pause or hold option. Cancelling is the equivalent, and because your watch history survives, resubscribing later picks up where you left off.

Where else can I watch Bravo shows in Australia? Hayu is the primary home and the only same-day source. Some overlap exists: Below Deck is on Foxtel and Hayu with a subset on BINGE, and Real Housewives availability varies by franchise across Foxtel and free-to-air catch-up. Netflix and Stan carry their own reality shows but nothing from Bravo.
