Cancel difficulty: Easy

DashPass costs $9.99/month in Australia. It gives you $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees on eligible orders over $20. If you're not ordering often enough to save more than $9.99 a month, it's not worth keeping.

Cancel in the app

  2. Tap Account (bottom right)
  3. Tap Manage DashPass
  4. Tap Cancel Membership
  5. Scroll down and tap Cancel Membership again
  6. Select a reason and confirm

Cancel on the web

  1. Go to doordash.com and sign in
  2. Click your name or the account icon (top right)
  3. Click Manage DashPass
  4. Click Cancel Membership and confirm

Cancel at least 24 hours before your next billing date to avoid being charged for another month.

Amazon Prime members

If you got DashPass free through Amazon Prime Australia, you don't need to cancel DashPass separately. It's bundled with your Prime membership. If you cancel Prime, DashPass goes with it. The free DashPass offer for Prime members runs until November 2026.

If you're paying $9.99/month for DashPass but you already have Amazon Prime, check whether you're eligible for the free bundled version instead.

After you cancel

You keep DashPass benefits until the end of your current billing period. After that, you'll pay standard delivery and service fees on all orders. Your order history, saved addresses, and payment methods are unaffected. You can resubscribe at any time.

Is DashPass worth it?

The maths is simple. If your average delivery fee is $5 and you order twice a month, you save $10 minus the $9.99 subscription. That's basically break-even. You need to order at least 3 times a month to see real savings.

If you order once a week or more, keep it. If you order a few times a month, it's marginal. If you order once a month or less, cancel.

That's one less subscription to think about. But how many others are quietly charging you?

Most people find 3-5 subscriptions they forgot about when they actually look. Upload a bank statement to Subtracker and see every recurring charge in 2 minutes. No bank login. No manual entry. $12.99 once.
